Greetings from Southern Oregon

I hope you enjoyed my watercolor and ink work. I am excited to share it with you. I am a member of the Rogue Gallery and Art Center located in Medford, Oregon and have also displayed my work in a variety of venues in Ashland.


Artist Statement

Watercolor and ink are fairly new mediums for me. I find them to be a good match for my view of the world. They bring alive---in a very clear, luminous way--- the simple and amazing beauty of things.

I spend my creative time sketching, refining ideas, and resolving the artistic challenges that best utilize my art skills. In the end, I hope to bring it all together in paintings that show my excitement and amazement. Silly dogs. Playing children. Dramatic mountain and desert scenes. All of these subjects, in palettes of blues and greens, amaze me and bring me great joy. If I can create a painting that offers the observer the same feelings, then my work realizes its purpose.
